Officially Undisputed.
Adam Cole pulled it off at NXT TakeOver: XXV, defeating Johnny Gargano to win the NXT Title. The bout was a back-and-forth affair with both men throwing everything but the kitchen sink at each other in order to hold the NXT gold. While there was a ref bump and brief chair involvement, Cole's fellow Undisputed ERA members were nowhere to be found during the bout. In the end, Cole put Gargano away with a Panama Sunrise and Last Shot, ending the reign of Gargano and ushering in the Era of Undisputed.
