Adam Copeland (Edge) Comments On The Possibility Of Beth Phoenix Joining Him In AEW

Adam Copeland (Edge) is asked about the possibility of his wife Beth Phoenix joining him in AEW.

Adam Copeland arrived in AEW at AEW WrestleDream, running into his old friend Christian Cage and preventing him from connecting with a conchairto on Sting.

While Copeland became a free agent in September after his WWE contract expired, it is unclear if his wife Beth Phoenix would be able to make the same move.

Asked about Beth possibly coming to AEW in the AEW WrestleDream media scrum, Copeland replied, "Anytime I get to be close to Beth, obviously, I’m going to be super excited about that. I don’t know about the possibilities of that in the foreseeable. I love being around her, obviously, and we’ve had a blast when we did get to work together. Where she will be instrumental without anyone knowing it is she is my sounding board. If you see me do something that you think worked, it was always bounced off Beth and she always gives me better ideas back. It’s kind of amazing to be married to a Hall of Famer. It’s pretty cool. Who can suplex you [laughs]."

Phoenix last wrestled at WWE Elimination Chamber 2023, teaming with her husband to defeat The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Rhea Ripley).

Elsewhere during the scrum, Copeland commented on being full-time with AEW. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
