Hurricane Helene has caused devasting damage to towns in across the east coast with North Carolina being hit hard.
North Carolina resident Adam Copeland said that he and his family are safe, but they are still without wifi.

Florida Disaster Fund
The Florida Disaster Fund is the state of Florida’s official private fundraiser for disaster relief. The fund provides financial assistance to communities as they respond to and recover from emergencies or disasters like Hurricane Helene. North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund: Gov. Roy Cooper encourages those looking to donate to contribute to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund. His office says the donations will go to nonprofit groups working to meet storm victims' immediate needs, like food and water, cleaning supplies and other emergency supplies.
American Red Cross
As Hurricane Helene made landfall, the American Red Cross deployed hundreds of trained disaster workers and assisted more than 2,600 people in shelters. United Way
The United Way assists in disaster-related evacuations, shelters, food/clothing distributions, volunteer opportunities and other resources. Monetary contributions can be made to the United Way of Florida Disaster Fund.
