Cage vs. Copeland III is set.
On the March 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Killswitch defeated 'Daddy Magic' Matt Menard in a singles match. After the bout, Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, Killswitch, and Shayna Wayne were headed up the ramp when Adam Copeland make his long awaited return to AEW.
Copeland fought off Wayne and Killswitch before proceeding to chase Cage out of the arena, allowing him to steal a car and commit grand theft auto. Copeland called Cage a bitch for running away before challenging him to an I Quit match on the March 20 episode of Dynamite. That show will take place in Toronto. Only moments later, Tony Khan confirmed that the match will go down.

This will be the third singles match between Cage and Copeland. The first bout took place on the December 6, 2023 episode of Dynamite, while the second match happened at the Worlds End pay-per-view later that month.
