PAC will defend the AEW All-Atlantic Championship at AEW Battle of the Belts IV.
On the September 30 episode of AEW Rampage, Trent Beretta sent a heated message to "The Bastard." He noted that Pac hurt Orange Cassidy during their title match on the "Grand Slam" edition of AEW Dynamite. Beretta then announced that he will challenge PAC for the gold at AEW Battle of the Belts IV on October 7.
Beretta and PAC previously faced off on the September 7 episode of AEW Dynamite. There, Death Triangle (PAC, Penta Oscuro and Rey Fenix) defeated Best Friends (Beretta, Cassidy, and Chuck Taylor) to win the vacant AEW World Trios Championship.
