AEW Dynamite (3/23) Preview: The Hardys Are Ready To Mix It Up In Texas!

It's Wednesday night and you know what that means!

AEW is prepared to bring a tornado to Texas and a whole lot more on tonight’s Dynamite on TBS. Here is everything you need to know.

Joe Hendry Is Confronted By Frankie Kazarian, Shane Taylor Promotions Wants Gold | TNA x ROH Fight Size

The Hardys, Sting, And Darby Have Issued A Tornado Warning For The Andrade Family Office

Since his debut, Jeff Hardy has helped his brother, Matt Hardy, set things right as he looks to distance himself from his former faction of the AHFO. The Hardys have had help in the form of an old friend and rival in Sting and Sting’s protege, who takes inspiration from The Hardys, Darby Allin.

In only his second match in AEW, Jeff Hardy will already be involved in a Tornado Tag Team Match as Team Xtreme rides again.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman Speaks For The First Time Since Revolution

A lot has happened for MJF since AEW Revolution. He lost his Dog Collar Match to CM Punk thanks to his former bodyguard, Wardlow. Wardlow earned a TNT Championship opportunity last week and MJF made sure that his bodyguard did not win the title and earn a contract that is separate from the one he is under with Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

Now, however, Maxwell has a big enemy.

With the Pinnacle shrinking by the day as FTR have kicked Tully Blanchard to the curb and have not declared any allegiance in this ongoing situation between Wardlow and MJF, Maxwell will speak for the first time tonight and Wardlow may not be far behind.

CM Punk Returns

CM Punk will also return for the first time since Revolution’s Dog Collar Match. Punker made his intentions clear during the post-show media scrum, he wants to be World Champion. It remains to be seen whether or not he will be able to declare those same intentions on television or if another wrestler will choose to stand in the way of CM Punk’s attempt to recapture World Title gold.

Blonds Typically Have More Fun, But Maybe Not Tonight.

Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson continue their care through the tag team division of All Elite Wrestling with William Regal by their side. Tonight, they set their sights on The Varsity Blonds, Brian Pillman, and Griff Garrison. Will either Blond step up and impress Regal, Danielson, or Moxley?

In the past, they have shown that they have an unbreakable fighting spirit, but these days, Danielson and Moxley seem to get their kicks out of breaking spirits.

Sports Entertainment 101 With The Jericho Appreciation Society

Chris Jericho has fully embraced the world of sports entertainment. Much to the shock of the wrestling fans, so has Daniel Garcia. Now, Jericho and Garcia look to entertain while stepping in the ring with one of the more entertaining duos in AEW history, John Silver and Alex Reynolds.

As Jericho and Garcia look to come together for the first time as a tag team, they have only one goal in mind, to entertain you.

Leyla Hirsch And Red Velvet Go At It Again. No Alien In Sight

Leyla Hirsch will have an opportunity to avenge her loss to Red Velvet this past Friday as she will face Red Velvet once again tonight only this time, Kris Statlander has been barred from ringside. With a new women's World Champion, both women look to end their personal issues and move up the rankings.

Adam Cole And Jay Lethal Reignite An Old Rivalry

As Adam Cole looks to cement his place as the next World Champion, he looks to the past and someone he's defeated for the Ring of Honor World Championship as he will face Jay Lethal tonight. Will reDRagon be by his side, what will Hangman be up to, and how will Jay Lethal capitalize on this opportunity to get back into a World Title picture?

Both men will be looking to answer all of these questions tonight.

That's just everything that's announced so far for this evening. Thunder Rosa is the new Women's World Champion, Britt Baker has yet to announce any future career moves for herself, Jade Cargill, Scorpio Sky, and Jurassic Express are all looming in the background with their respective championships, and the road to Double Or Nothing in May is shifting into high gear.

You can check out the updated rankings ahead of tonight's episode below:
