The Rock responds.
A large portion of the audience have been vocal about Rock's absence from WrestleMania 41, saying that he actively hurt the show and the headling match between John Cena and Cody Rhodes.
Following his absence from 'The Show Of Shows', The Rock was a guest on Tuesday's edition of The Pat McAfee Show. This appearance allowed 'The Final Boss' to explain his distance from the feud between Rhodes and Cena, noting that he wanted Cena to have his own moment at WrestleMania. Rock
Fans have largely been up in arms about Rock's comments, with many criticizing his past comments about always being a few steps ahead of the fans and always having a plan.
In particular, Busted Open Radio host Dave LaGreca has been very open about the lack of Rock at WrestleMania. The popular personality has also joined in on the criticism surrouding Rock's interview with Pat McAfee.
On Thursday, April 24, Rock issued a response to LaGreca and the Busted Open team on Instagram, reminding him that wrestling is a work.
