AEW keeps viewership over 1 million with Wednesdays being all to themselves
ShowBuzzDaily reports AEW Dynamite did 1.104 million viewers on April 21. The number is down from last week, which drew 1.219 million viewers.
NXT officially moved to Tuesdays beginning April 13, meaning AEW Dynamite will be running unopposed on Wednesdays for the foreseeable future.
This is the first time that AEW has received back-to-back overnight viewership numbers of over 1 million since the first month that Dynamite was on television back in October 2019.
Wednesday's show drew a 0.37 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, which is down from the 0.37 rating in the same demographic the show drew last week.
AEW Dynamite finished second among the top 150 cable originals for Wednesday. The night was won by The Challenge on MTV, which drew a 0.58 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic and 990,000 viewers.
