Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay went to war.
Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay were once the best of friends and at AEW Full Gear that friendship imploded, giving way to a highly competitive matchup. In this matchup, Fletcher got the better of Ospreay.
Fletcher was determined to show that he is nothing like his former friend and mentor and those differences were apparent through and through on November 23, 2024. Even the ring gear choices of both men demonstrated the polar opposite positions both men find themselves in. Fletcher wore white trunks while Ospreay donned long black tights.
Fletcher targeted the injured neck of Will Osprey throughout the entirety of the match but that didn't stop Ospreay from delivering his own signature offense. The match took a turn, however, after Kyle delivered a Tombstone Piledriver from the apron onto steel steps. From that moment on, Ospreay had considerably less strength and Fletcher took over control completely, getting the victory with a Helluva Kick and Top-Rope Brainbuster.
Both men firing off everything they got!
