AEW 'Strongly Considering' Partnering With New Developer For Future Games

AEW could be looking for a new development partner.

'AEW: Fight Forever' was considered to be a letdown by many fans, with some criticizing the game for being undeveloped and one note. As of publish time, the promotion has not announced any future DLC packs for the game, leaving many fans to believe that the game will not be updated again.

According to a new report from Insider Gaming, AEW is strongly considering looking for a new development partner for future games after "nobody was really happy" with the release of Fight Forever.

One source that Insider Gaming spoke to said that every option is still on the table, noting that another game could be made with Yuke's given that there is a foundation in place. Insider Gaming also notes that a source told them that a lot of people in the company want another shot with a console game, but it will all come down to the person that is signing the checks.

The outlet also stated that feelers have been sent out to some of the larger developers in the gaming space.
