Prior to the premiere of AEW Dynamite on TNT, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes showed off the All Elite Wrestling Tag Team Championships alongside Tony Khan and Chris Jericho. The day after the event, Belt Fan Dan provided fans with a more detailed look at the straps.

Fans immediately noticed the cradle piledriver and sleeper hold side plates. Matt Jackson took to social media to confirm that the cradle piledriver side plate is a tribute to AEW coach and ECW legend Jerry Lynn.
