In its second straight week airing outside of its usual Wednesday night slot, AEW Dynamite's viewership went up.
According to numbers posted by Showbuzz Daily, the August 27 episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 813,000 viewers, up from the 755,000 viewers the August 22 episode drew. At 813,000 viewers, this is Dynamite's third-best viewership number since late May.
In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.29 rating (good for 11th best on cable for the day), down from the 0.31 rating last week drew. In the 18-34 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.19 rating, down from the 0.21 rating the August 22 episode drew and in the 50+ rating, Dynamite drew a 0.30 rating, up from last week's 0.25 rating. Additionally, in males 18-49, Dynamite finished eighth on cable for the day.
AEW Dynamite is returning to Wednesday nights starting September 2, which is the final show before the All Out pay-per-view. As for this week, Dynamite featured a contract signing for the upcoming AEW World Championship match between Jon Moxley and MJF. In addition, FTR won a gauntlet match to earn themselves an AEW World Tag Team title match at All Out and in the main event, Sammy Guevara defeated Matt Hardy in a tables match.
