Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship at AEW Full Gear.
On the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, Moxley defended the gold against Hangman Page. The bout abruptly ended when Hangman landed on his head after a lariat. The referee called for the bell and rewarded the match to Moxley.
With a few minutes of TV time left, Moxley called out MJF, who earned a world title shot when he won the Casino Ladder Match at AEW All Out. Moxley dared MJF to cash the chip in on Tuesday night and show the world who he is. MJF came to the ring, prepared to use his title shot, but he thought better of it. He got a microphone and stated that he wants to face Moxley when he's 100%. MJF stated that he doesn't want there to be any excuse, as he's determined to prove that he's better than Moxley. He then announced that he will challenge for the title at AEW Full Gear on November 19.
