The finals of the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament are set for AEW All Out.
On the September 2 episode of AEW Rampage, Hangman Page and the Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds) battled Orange Cassidy and the Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) in the Rampage Finals. Page took Evil Uno's place after the latter was attacked by Andrade El Idolo on AEW Dynamite.
Hangman and his Dark Order stablemates showcased their chemistry, but the Best Friends repeatedly showcased their experience. The latter trio took control when the Best Friends chokeslammed Page through a table at ringside. Cassidy scored two near falls, first with a Beach Break and then with a triple-team splash on Silver. Page rallied with a moonsault to the outside and a Deadeye for a two count.
The two teams kept going back and forth, and the Best Friends nearly scored the win with the Awful Waffle on Silver. In the end, Silver rolled up Taylor for the win
