AJ Styles is back on SmackDown and advancing to the semifinals in the WWE Intercontinental Title tournament.
In his first match since being traded from Raw to SmackDown, Styles picked up a win against long-time rival Shinsuke Nakamura in the first round of the tournament to crown a new Intercontinental Champion. Styles will take on Elias in the semifinals.

In the other semifinal matchup, Jeff Hardy picked up a victory over Sheamus, meaning that Hardy will take on Daniel Bryan in the semifinals. Both semifinal matches will take place next week on SmackDown.
