The Rizzler rizzed up AEW fans at AEW Full gear 2024, serving as the special guest time keeper for Big Boom! AJ of the Costco Guys against QT Marshall.
Big Boom! AJ suffered a foot injury in the match, but he wasn't the only casualty according to Joey Janela.
"The Rizzler got injured at AEW," Janela told Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl on In The Weeds. "From ringing the bell, he hurt his hand. He hit the bell too hard. Giancarlo was the Rizzler’s handler that day. He had to get him a little wrap and ice pack. He sent me a picture of Rizzler icing his hand. He bashed the ring bell too hard and got injured. His first wrestling injury. That’s why he’s not showing up too much. He’s like, ‘This wrestling life is not for me.’"
The Rizzler's ability to Rizz was not severely effected as he was back to rizz facing on TikTok shortly after AEW Full Gear.
