AJ Styles Says Cody Rhodes Has Quit Everywhere He's Gone, Cody Says He's Always Chased Something Greater

Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles deliver final words before WWE Clash at the Castle.

Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles met in the center of the ring on the June 14th episode of WWE SmackDown for their final confrontation before their "I Quit" match at WWE Clash at the Castle.

Ryan Nemeth Says His Complaint Sent To AEW Executives Is Not Resolved

During the promo, Styles said its natural for Cody to quit because he's quit everywhere he's gone including his first WWE run, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and a company he helped start, referring to AEW. Cody said he didn't quit in those moments; he chased something greater and bet on himself. Cody said winning the Undisputed WWE Championship was proof that his gamble paid off.

Styles said that he knows he won't be easy, but he will make Cody quit at Clash at the Castle.

The crowd in Glasgow was on Cody's side, singing his name and chanting "Shut the fuck up" at AJ.
