AJ Styles Says The Young Bucks Are Coming To WWE "Within Five Years"

AJ Styles knows the Young Bucks well. Styles was part of the Bullet Club in New Japan and Ring of Honor before coming to WWE, a stable the Bucks still run with today. The current ROH Tag Team (and 2/3 of the current 6-Man Tag) Champions have been infamously reticent when asked if they might come to WWE soon, saying only that the time isn't right, right now.

But if you ask AJ Styles, as PWInsider did recently, when the Young Bucks are coming to WWE, he seems to have an idea when that might happen.

CM Punk: I Feel Like I Wasted Some Matches On Some People In AEW

“Oooh man, that is a tough question. For guys who know to do what they do and they’ve got it done before they even get here….so, I would say….oh, that’s a tough question, man….I give them five years, at the most. Within five years. Yeah. That’s my timeline. What do you think, had the people asked, ‘Do you think AJ Styles would come here?’, if you could have asked that ten years ago? What do you think people would have said then? You never know, man.“

Matt Jackson is currently 32, and his brother Nick is currently 28, so in five years, it's unclear whether they could legally be referred to as "The Young Bucks," but as long as they can still throw a Superkick Party, they'd probably be welcomed by the WWE Universe no matter what Vince McMahon decides to call them.

Because yes, in five years, when he will be 77, Vince will still be in charge of those things.

And 45-year-old 6-Time WWE Champion AJ Styles will still be hitting Phenomenal Forearms on fools. But in five years, he might have some backup in the form of The Formerly Young Bucks.
