AJPW President Tsuyoki Fukuda Says He's Refused Offers To Acquire The Group

AJPW President Tsuyoki Fukuda will continue to protect AJPW.

All Japan Pro-Wrestling has been a staple in Japanese wrestling since 1972 when Giant Baba created the promotion. In 2020, Tsuyoki Fukuda took over as President and navigated the company through COVID.

Speaking to Yahoo Sports, Fukuda revealed that he has turned down offers from others to acquire the group and wants to continue to protect the company.

"I want to protect All Japan Pro-Wrestling. What is the right thing to do? What is the right thing to do? We have to repeat trial and error even in a foggy situation. If we fail, we can correct it," he said.

AJPW did join the United Japan Pro-Wrestling Alliance with other Japanese organizations like NJPW, Pro Wrestling NOAH, DDT Pro Wrestling, Tokyo Joshi Pro, and more.

The company also formed a relationship with WWE bringing Charlie Dempsy to AJPW to challenge for the Triple Crown Championship.
