Akira Tozawa entered the men's Royal Rumble at number eight.
Unfortunately, he didn't make it too far down the entrance way as he was attacked by Carmelo Hayes.
Tozawa was attended to by officials and removed from the match.
Next year, he's hoping to take just one extra step.

Tozawa was replaced in the match by IShowSpeed. Tozawa may have been lucky that Carmelo took him out given how Speed's night went.
