This year for Christmas, Santa Claus brought Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn back to the WWE Universe.
During the Holiday Havoc Match on the December 22 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, "Michin" Mia Yim, Zelina Vega, Shotzi, & Bianca Belair defeated Damage CTRL's Asuka, IYO SKY, Bayley, & Kairi Sane. The babyface quartet was able to do this thanks to an unexpected assist by former NXT Women's Tag Team Champions, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.
Dawn and Fyre were hiding in the present boxes that surrounded the ring. They would go on to attack Asuka and Kairi Sane. This would allow Bianca Belair to hit the KOD on Bayley, giving the clearance for Mia Yim to pin the WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY following a senton through a table.

It's not clear why Dawn and Fyre attacked Damage CTRL. They were last seen on the November 3 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, they had their sights set on Piper Niven and Chelsea Green. Chelsea and Piper were the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions until the December 18 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw where they lost the titles to Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.
