"The Pride Of Mexico" is said to be returning to AAA.
Earlier today, there were reports floating around that former two-time WWE Champion Alberto El Patron was present at the WWE Headquarters in Stamford last week. The report from PWInsider notes that El Patron was indeed at the headquarters, but it was to film a project related to Rey Mysterio. The site also notes that El Patron met with Vince McMahon while he was there. El Patron has made some controversial comments about the WWE and their executives in the past; in videos that made its rounds on social media.
Alberto El Patron is currently set to face the current Impact World Champion Austin Aries at Impact's 'Redemption' PPV on April 22nd. It is to be noted that El Patron's contract with the company expires next month as well.
Twitter user, @Therealfredo who was present at today's AAA press conference shared that El Patron, who is a former AAA Mega Champion would be returning to the promotion.
As seen in the second of the three tweets, El Patron will be partaking in a press conference on the 15th and 16th of this month to explain what he is currently up to regarding his pro wrestling career.
