Nacion Lucha Libre is providing health insurance for their talents.
Alberto El Patron promoted the launch of the Nacion Lucha Libre promotion during the early portion of the month of June and the promotion will have its first show on July 11th in Mexico City and they will begin television on July 14th on Imagen TV. El Patron is the figurehead of the promotion and he has been making the rounds on the media circuit to bring Nacion Lucha Libre to the attention of those within the wrestling world and he recently spoke with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald and shared that health care will be provided to the wrestlers of the promotion.
“Most of the companies including WWE because WWE, they have their own doctors, but WWE doesn't provide you with heath insurance. They actually force you to get your own insurance. If you don’t get your own insurance, they don’t let you perform.” He continued, “But the insurance, I’m gonna be giving [it] to all the luchadores, wrestlers in Nacion Lucha Libre. It’s gonna cover them inside and outside of the ring so it’s really important to give a worker everything they deserve or health insurance, life insurance, retirement plan. Stuff they’ve never had before.”
