Alberto El Patron is both a plaintiff and defendant in a case in Texas.
According to a report by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Alberto El Patron (formerly Alberto Del Rio) is currently involved in a lawsuit in Texas resulting from a bar brawl. The court documents describe the incident from the perspectives of both men involved in the case. A man named Alex Pardo gave a statement where he saw El Patron moon a crowd at the bar and then come sit near him. Pardo says a brawl broke out soon after El Patron sat down. Pardo was transported to a hospital as a result of the fight and claimed El Patron was the assailant.
Patron's statement on the incident said a person with Pardo wanted to take a picture with a woman in El Patron's party. At the time, Patron was dating Smackdown General Manager Paige. El Patron said a confrontation started because of the issue with the selfie and El Patron was cut on his head by a broken drinking glass.
According the the report, El Patron's lawyer is filling for a default judgment because Pardo's lawyer has left the case and did not file important documents. El Patron is seeking $5,000.
