Alex Hammerstone provides an update on his injury.
MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone seemingly suffered an injury during the War Chamber match at the MLW War Chamber event on April 6. There, he teamed up with Mance Warner, 1 Called Manders, and Matthew Justice to face Raven's stable, The Calling. Hammerstone had to leave the match early, and additional details had been unclear. Hammerstone wrestled at the MLW Battle Riot V taping on April 8, but he has not competed since the taping.
In a tweet, Hammerstone confirmed that he suffered a torn adductor muscle. He wrote that he will be cleared and ready to get back in the ring the weekend of May 12-14.
