Alex Shelley has been pulled from a Black Label Pro card after being taken out by a Tiger Driver/Piledriver-like maneuver at IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory.

Alex Shelley was supposed to defend the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Championship alongside Chris Sabin at Bound For Glory but was taken out before the bell rang by Josh Alexander of The North, who would go on to win their second IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Championship.

Following IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory, Black Label Pro announced that Alex Shelley would no longer be competing at the upcoming "Slamilton" event for them where he was scheduled to face Billy Roc, a man who was previously retired and was looking forward to this opportunity to step in the ring with another veteran of the independent scene.

Alex Shelley would comment on the moment at Bound For Glory and his removal from the upcoming Black Label Pro card by apologizing and saying that Piledrivers are not to be taken lightly.

Shelley would also provide some insight as to what he was feeling, referencing the C6 nerve root and C5. Shelley stepped away from pro wrestling briefly to become a physical therapist and noted that he was glad to have the education that allows him to understand these red flags.
