Aliyah Reflects On Final WWE Match, 'Organically, The Crowd Loved Us'

Aliyah looks back on her final WWE match.

Aliyah was released by WWE in September 2023 after being sidelined with an injury for the majority of the year. She last wrestled on the September 12, 2022 episode of WWE Raw where she and Raquel Rodriguez lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles to Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai & IYO SKY).

Speaking on the Johnny I Pro Show, Aliyah said about the match, "Oh my goodness, it was my favorite favorite favorite favorite thing I got to do there. Organically, the crowd loved us.”

Asked about her entrance, she said, "That was all on the fly. That’s the thing, when we went out there, it was just magic, you know? I just came out there and I was having a ball with my muscle. She was the muscle, I was the little pipsqueak and together, we were just the vibes and the ones that know, know. The ones that get it, get it. The ones that don’t, guess what? You never fucking will so bye bye.”

During the match, Aliyah suffered a rib and shoulder injury.

“The level of disassociation, I was blown away, I was like woah, woah, woah, we’ve done it with this one, you know? I was pushing through and you could really see the emotions and everything and I’m really proud of that match," she said.

Aliyah has not returned to the ring since being released by WWE.
