All In is widely viewed as the unofficial origin of All Elite Wrestling. The event was held on September 1, 2018, and it was promoted by Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson). It featured wrestlers from various promotions, including NJPW, ROH, IMPACT Wrestling, AAA, NWA, and more. A number of noteworthy names competed at All In, including Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, MJF, and Kazuchika Okada.
Within a few months of All In, Rhodes, the Young Bucks, and Omega teamed up with Tony Khan to found All Elite Wrestling. In recognition of the importance of All In, AEW named its debut in the United Kingdom after the event. AEW will hold AEW All In at Wembley Stadium on August 27, anf the event has reportedly surpassed the record for ticket distribution.
AEW CEO Tony Khan has announced that the company will make a ton of money with AEW All In. Check out his comments here.
