The October 21 episode of AEW Rampage will now feature a third championship match.
It was already known that The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) would be defending the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Varsity Athletes with the right to own the trademark of scissoring at stake as well. However, what was previously a one-on-one match will now be a Triple Threat Match for the AEW All-Atlantic Championship.
During a pre-match interview conducted by Alex Marvez with Preston Vance, RUSH interrupted the interview that is taking place at a bar in Daily's Place. Orange Cassidy showed up behind the bar and revealed his newly-won championship belt and when all parties agreed that they wanted to fight for the title, Tony Khan, who was also sitting at the bar, agreed and made the match official.
Moments ago @alexmarvez interviewed @Pres10Vance at the home of #AEW @dailysplace (in the bar) 24 hours before his bout vs @rushtoroblanco!
