NXT wrestler Amari Miller is apologizing for her tweet regarding Sasha Banks.
On Wednesday, Miller tweeted that she was looking to become the second African American NXT Women's Champion behind Ember Moon. She noted that Banks is "German and Black" after fans said Banks was also an African American NXT Women's Champion. Banks' mom is of German descent.
After backlash from the tweets Miller deactivated her account.
On Thursday, she returned to Twitter and apologized.
as I’m typing and can come across totally different but that’s lessons learned for sure. People make mistakes and people grow and that is exactly what this experience was for me.

Miller signed with WWE as part of the group of recruits that reported to the Performance Center in February 2021. She's made appearances on NXT and NXT Level Up.
Banks was suspended indefinitely by WWE on the May 20 episode of WWE SmackDown after she and Naomi walked out of the May 16 episode of WWE Raw. Banks has yet to comment on her status with the company.
