AEW and NJPW have formed a stronger relationship over the years, specifically in the middle of the pandemic, and it all culminates at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, a joint show between the two companies.
While the card is still filling out, one man said he can't work with NJPW due to past relationships.
Andrade El Idolo tweeted, "I can't work with NJPW, thanks CMLL and AAA." Andrade did not elaborate on the restrictions of working with NJPW.

Andrade returned to television on the June 8 episode of AEW Dynamite as the Joker in the Casino Battle Royale. He took time away after a coffin match against Darby Allin on April 20 to marry Charlotte Flair.
