Andrade El Idolo gets his mask back and a measure of revenge on the House of Black.
Andrade opened the July 29 episode of AEW Saturday Collision against Buddy Matthews in a Ladder Match. Hanging above the ring was Andrade's black mask. Andrade has been trying to reclaim his stolen mask from Malakai Black, Brody King, and Matthews. On the June 17 episode of AEW Collision, Andrade defeated Matthews.
With Malakai Black and Brody King banned from ringside, Andrade could utilize the no disqualification circumstances of a Ladder Match to his benefit.
When Julia Hart attempted to climb Andrade's back to stop him from retrieving his mask while climbing the ladder, the former NXT Champion was able to set Julia on the opposite side of the ladder and push her off the top of the ladder through Buddy Matthews and a table that was propped up in the corner. With all of the distractions out of his way, Andrade retrieved the mask he held so near and dear to his heart, and he could finally look ahead to the future.
