Another Champion Out Of WrestleMania 36, Title Match Carries On With Substitute From NXT | Spoiler

Yet another on-the-fly change was made to WrestleMania 36. This time, due to an injury suffered by a competitor scheduled to compete in a title match.

Andrade is no longer going to compete alongside Angel Garza in the Raw Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania. PWInsider is reporting that Andrade suffered a rib injury during the most recent episode of Raw where he teamed with Angel Garza Too Faced the tandem of Cedric Alexander and Ricochet before engaging in a brief angle with The Street Profits, the incumbent Raw Tag Team Champions.

The Raw Tag Team Championship match was reportedly taped over the course of Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26, with Angel Garza reportedly teaming with a substitute brought up from NXT.

According to POST Wrestling, that substitute is Austin Theory. a performer who only recently joined the NXT roster from the EVOLVE promotion.

This is the latest in a litany of changes made to the WrestleMania card. Thus far, Bobby Lashley, Dana Brooke, and a competitor in the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match were all scheduled for matchups that have since been mandated to change. On top of these individuals, the biggest name is arguably Roman Reigns, who had to back out of his championship match against Goldberg. Learn more about that at this link.
