A third quarterfinal matchup has been set.
On the November 3 edition of AEW Dynamite, Anna Jay and Jamie Hayer faced off in a first-round match in the AEW TBS Women's Championship Tournament. The winner would move on to face Thunder Rosa in the next round.
The two women have been at odds for a few weeks now. On October 22, Jay lost to Dr. Britt Baker, but the AEW Women’s Champion, along with Hayter and Rebel, continued assaulting Anna until her friend, Tay Conti, came out and made the save. The have had a few backstage run-ins in the weeks since.
During tonight's broadcast, Jamie Hayter used her Lariat to defeat Anna Jay. After the match, Britt Baker and company tried to get the jump on Anna and send a further message when Tay Conti and Thunder Rosa would make the save.

The only other first-round match currently remaining is a showdown between Red Velvet and The Bunny. The full bracket can be seen here.
The finals of the tournament will be held on January 5, 2022, when AEW Dynamite officially moves to TBS.
