Tiffany Stratton: Charlotte Flair Is Why I Got Into Wrestling. This Was My Dream Match Before WWE

Tiffany Stratton says that, for her, this match with Charlotte Flair has been building much longer than the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble event.

Charlotte Flair looks to recapture WWE Women's Championship gold when she challenges Tiffany Stratton at WWE WrestleMania 41. She earned that right by winning the 2025 Royal Rumble match and could have chosen any other Women's Champion in WWE. Now, a generational clash appears to be on the horizon and while this Road to WrestleMania has gotten very personal for Stratton and Flair, this is also a match that Tiffany has been hoping for since she started wrestling.

Speaking to Jan Murphy of the Toronto Sun as part of the Onefall podcast, Stratton praised Flair as one of her idols and spoke about how much this match means to her.

"Yeah, I think this match doesn't even it doesn't even start with the past six weeks. It doesn't even start with her winning the Royal Rumble and her picking me. I think it starts with she's the reason why I got into wrestling. She is who I looked up to, who I saw on my TV screen, who I idolized, and I had it already set in my mind that she is a dream match of mine, even before I got signed to WWE. So this goes back much farther than that. She's obviously one of my idols, and at WrestleMania, I think this is when I solidify that I am the new generation and and I'm here to take her place."

During the April 4 episode of WWE SmackDown, a very personal promo took place between both women. Fans can read Tiffany's comments on that promo here.
