Another name has qualified for the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
On the April 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Hikaru Shida faced Julia Hart in a qualifying match for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. The winner would be the third person to officially claim a spot on the bracket, joining Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter.
After a hard-fought encounter, it was Shida who emerged victoriously. During her post-match celebration, Serena Deeb's music began playing and she tried to attack Shida from behind, but the former Women's Champion anticipated as much and was able to back her off with a kendo stick.
