While speaking to Fightful for an interview that was conducted over WrestleCade weekend, Kurtis said he'd be absolutely open to competing at Bloodsport, noting that it's his favorite type of wrestling.

"Oh, absolutely. It's the hard hitting—you don't need the ropes. You don't need the ropes to have a wrestling match. Since when, right? They come in there, and they hit hard. They work submissions. They're really putting it on each other. Yeah, that's my favorite type of wrestling, for sure."

2024 was a historic year for Bloodsport, as Josh Barnett and GCW hosted three seperate events throughout the year. In 2021, Barnett and GCW hosted four Bloodsport events.
