MLW Has Big Hopes For Joshi Talent, Future With TJPW

Some joshi talent look like they could thrive in the US.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has learned that Major League Wrestling has what they consider "big plans" in store for both HIMAWARI and Shoko Nakajima.

CMLL Martes de Arena Mexico (4/1/2025) Results: Atlantis Jr, Hermanos Chávez, Fuerza Poblana, More

Shoko Nakajima has worked a number of United States dates dating back to 2018, including wrestling on the AEW Fight For The Fallen 2019 Buy In, teaming with Bea Priestley to beat Britt Baker & Riho. She also made five trips to the USA for wrestling dates alone last year. HIMAWARI hasn't wrestled in the United States as of yet.

We're told that MLW is hoping to do more with TJPW as a part of their women's division moving forward.
