The Forbidden Door has led to the red carpet of a GLAAD event as WWE and AEW Superstars come together to show that love is love.
Both Anthony Bowens of AEW’s The Acclaimed tag team and WWE on-screen official Sonya Deville were given the opportunity to walk the red carpet during A Night of Pride an event hosted by GLAAD and the NFL.
Anthony Bowens shared his gratitude for the opportunity to walk the red carpet with his boyfriend, Michael Pavano as well as thanking Tony Khan and AEW for showcasing LGBTQ representation.
Thank you to @glaad and the @NFL for having @michaelpavano and I at this amazing event last night celebrating LGBTQ inclusion in pro sports. I keep saying it, visibility is key. Shout out to @AEW for supporting it’s LGBTQ performers and letting everyone be themselves pic.twitter.com/2YPB0trP2L

Then, following a tweet from a now delete it account that stated their displeasure about this representation, Anthony tweeted a picture of himself on the red carpet with Sonya DeVille proving that promotional boundaries be damned, it is important to come together for causes individuals believe in.
Sonya, selling the attack by Ronda Rousey from last week's episode of SmackDown, had her arm in a sling.
