An Antonio Inoki movie is coming.
During NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 it was announced that an Antonio Inoki movie is under development. No further details were given.
Inoki passed away on October 1, 2022 at the age of 79. The legendary wrestler founded New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 1972. Along with sharing the ring with other legendary pro wrestlers, Inoki famously fought Muhammad Ali in 1976.
NJPW paid tribute to Inoki at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 with a six-person tag team match featuring Satoshi Kojima, Yuji Nagata & Togi Makabe taking on Minoru Suzuki, Tatsumi Fujinami & Tiger Mask.
Kojima, Nagata, & Makabe were victorious in the match.
