According to Arn Anderson, dinosaur does not taste like chicken.
Anderson joined forces with Wardlow on the April 19 episode of AEW Dynamite and played a part in him regaining the TNT Championship by defeating Powerhouse Hobbs. The WWE Hall of Famer has continued to work with Wardlow, and he helped him retain the gold at AEW Double or Nothing, as he bit Luchasaurus during the champion's ladder match with Christian Cage.
Speaking on his ARN podcast, Anderson was asked to describe how he feels being in the ring and whether he has any concerns about getting involved. Anderson pointed out that a giant lizard tried to kill him.
“Yeah, a giant lizard tried to kill me. I get nerves, but it’s good nerves. It translates to energy. It’s more excitement mixed with adrenaline, mixed with you just want to contribute," Anderson said.
Few people, if any, have had the chance to taste dinosaur, so Anderson was asked about that as well. He made it clear that it isn't chicken. Instead, Anderson stated that it tastes like charcoal and compared it to briquette. He also noted that biting Luchasaurus was probably a bad choice, but he was in a tough spot when the big man had him by the throat.
“It ain’t chicken. I assure you, it’s not chicken. It’s like biting into a sinewy charcoal briquette, but chewy. It sure is [disgusting]. It was probably a bad choice, but he’s a big dude. He’s as big as anybody in the company, I would say, and when they got you by the throat, amazing the things that pop in your mind to do," Anderson said.
Anderson previously reflected on biting Luchasaurus. Check out his comments here.
