From the start, Perez did not back down from Grace. She slapped the TNA star and took the fight to her. The two champions battled back and forth, and they were evenly matched. Grace overpowered Perez, but the NXT Women's Champion persevered. Grace gained momentum by countering Pop Rox into a slam. However, the arrival of Tatum Paxley threw the match into chaos.

Paxley grabbed Grace's TNA Knockouts Women's Championship and tried to run away. However, she was stopped by TNA's Ash By Elegance, formerly known as Dana Brooke, who came out and tried to take the title. Grace intervened and dropped Ash. Grace got back in the ring, and Perez hit Pop Rox for the win.
