Ashante Adonis picked up a massive win on the August 20 episode of WWE NXT.
Ashante Adonis defeated Dion Lennox on the most recent episode of WWE NXT. This victory not only marked his first victory as a singles competitor in WWE since 2021, but as all of those victories came on WWE 205 Live, this was the first time Adonis scored a victory as a singles competitor on WWE television.
While Dion Lennox put up a good fight, he eventually got his lights knocked out by Sweet Chin Music, which was called the Long Kiss Good Night, courtesy of Adonis. Adonis even tuned up the band, just like Shawn Michaels.

Before this win, Ashante's last singles victory came on the April 23, 2021 episode of WWE 205 Live. On that episode, he defeated August Grey ("Retro" Anthony Greene).
Ladies and gentlemen, Ashante Adonis might have left the building, but his career is just getting started in WWE NXT.
