Overshadowed by one of the biggest returns possible in the reformation of The Shield, a WWE Cruiserweight Championship match was added to the upcoming WWE TLC pay-per-view...before being rescheduled.
Enzo Amore was set to make the first defense of his Cruiserweight title against former NXT Tag Team Champion Kalisto. The rest of WWE's cruiserweight division lost their opportunities at the title when they attacked Amore despite an order from WWE Raw General Manager Kurt Angle that stipulated no one could physically harm Amore.
Shortly after the announcement, Kurt Angle announced that Kalisto instead would get the opportunity on Raw.
Also on Raw, it was determined that Emma would face former NXT Women's Champion Asuka after winning a fatal-5 way match over Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke, Bayley and Alicia Fox.
