Asuka may not be ready to return just yet.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported Asuka was medically cleared to return following her shoulder injury. Asuka hasn't wrestled since Money in the Bank 2021.
Taking to social media, Asuka responded to the reports, wondering if they are true.

On March 2, Fightful Select published the following report on Asuka:
As of February, Asuka was still listed on internal WWE inactive lists, while wrestlers like Xavier Woods were removed from it, even though he still hasn't appeared on programming. One WWE source indicated that the optimistic return is "around Spring" for Asuka, and another said that no creative has been cooked up for her because she's not available as of yet.
It is unknown when Asuka will return to the ring or television.
Fightful will update fans on her condition when more is known.
