Austin Aries says he digs what AEW is doing and reveals he is still a free agent going into 2020.
Replying to a fan on Twitter that expressed interest in seeing Austin Aries wrestle Cody Rhodes in 2020, the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion revealed he would also like to see this happen and praised the presentation of All Elite Wrestling, saying that it’s like watching the National Wrestling Alliance during the Jim Crockett Promotions years mixed in with the best of WCW.
I’ll second this. And luckily I’m still a free agent. @CodyRhodes is one of a handful of men I’d love to compete against. And I’ve been digging what @AEWrestling has been doing so far, it’s like watching a new age NWA Crockett years mashed up with the best of WCW years. https://t.co/qs7jcWWCZZ

Austin Aries left IMPACT Wrestling following Bound For Glory 2018, when he lost the IMPACT World Championship to Johnny Impact. Since then, Aries has regularly been competing in Major League Wrestling as part of their Middleweight division, challenging Teddy Hart for the championship back in November at their inaugural pay-per-view event, MLW Saturday Night SuperFight.
