Austin Theory experienced his first WrestleMania under the most unusual of circumstances, but his sights are now set on next year’s WrestleMania.
Theory competed on the first-ever WrestleMania show to not only take place at the WWE Performance Center, but also taking place across two nights instead of one. In a behind-the-scenes clip that was posted on the WWE Performance Center YouTube, Theory talked about the experience of wrestling at WrestleMania 36.
"It's WrestleMania. It's as big as it gets. For me, just always being inspired by this, always wanting to be here so bad and everything happening so fast, I just think there's no words for that. It's mind-blowing, especially this whole week how things quickly came together... It's just happening so fast, I don't have time to react," Theory said.
In regards to what his WrestleMania goals are, Theory said he is looking forward to WrestleMania 37, taking place at SoFi Stadium in California in March 2021.
"I guess you gotta look for the long haul, and think the next WrestleMania and that one's Hollywood. So, I think I'm looking at Hollywood now. That's where my eyes are set," Theory said.
At WrestleMania 36, Theory replaced the injured Andrade to team up with Angel Garza and unsuccessfully challenge The Street Profits for the Raw Tag Team Championship. For full results of WrestleMania 36, check out Fightful’s results section.
