Check out the current lineup for the October 17 episode of NXT.
Cody Rhodes was in charge for one night and took care of business for next Tuesday. Rhodes announced a number one contender's bout for the NXT Championship, booking a triple threat match between Dijak, Baron Corbin, and Carmelo Hayes.
Corbin was displeased with Dragunov and LA Knight on the October 10 episode of NXT. Dijak attacked Drgaunov after his bout against Dominik Mysterio. Hayes defeated Bron Breakker to earn his spot in the match.
The winner will face NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov at NXT Halloween Havoc.
Rhodes also granted Tony D'Angelo's and "Stacks" Lorenzo's wish of a ten-team Bada-Bing-Bada-Boom Battle Royal where the winning team would receive a shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles at NXT Halloween Havoc.
The match is a standard battle royal, but the last two teams standing will compete in a standard tag team match.
Plus, Lyra Valkyria will take on Tegan Nox. Valkyria is set to challenge for the NXT Women's Title against Becky Lynch at NXT Halloween Havoc.
