Bandido won the Ring of Honor Championship -- a title that he never actually lost -- by defeating Chris Jericho in a Mask vs. Title matchup at AEW Dynasty.
Bandido made his entrance and the commentators noted that he was not only fighting for the ROH championship and his mask; he was fighting to avenge his brother, Gravity, as well. Gravity was avenged, if not defied, when Bandido got the win following a back-and-forth matchup with 'The Nueve.'
Bandido won the match after a 'Dusty Finish,' in which Jericho used a baseball bat to originally get the pinfall, but it was Bandido's family who showed referee Aubrey Edwards the bat. Edwards then convinced referee Bryce Remsburg to reverse the decision and continue the match. Bandido got the win, following a series of moves that ended with the 21-plex.
