Baron Corbin stands tall.
Baron Corbin opened NXT No Mercy with a victory over Bron Breakker in singles competition.
Before the bout officially began, Corbin and Breakker brawled into the crowd and around the ringside area. Once they got into the ring, the bell finally rang.
Near the end of the bout, Breakker went for a spear, but Corbin countered with a chokeslam through a table. Breakker sat up and ended up hitting a spear on Corbin on the outside. Back inside the ring, Mr. Stone tried to interfere, but Breakker tossed him over the top and onto security guards. Corbin was able to take advantage of the distraction, hitting Breakker with the End of Day for the victory.
